Astuces
"Il y a" (there is/there are) is your best friend for describing rooms: "Il y a un lit dans la chambre."
"Salle de bains" (bathroom) vs "toilettes" (toilet) — in France, they’re often in separate rooms!
A "studio" in French means a small one-room apartment. "Un deux-pièces" = a two-room apartment.
The French say "faire le lit" (make the bed), "faire le ménage" (do the housework).
